Top King Kanok Shinguards are perfect for kickboxing and Muay Thai. They are made using genuine leather, with a neoprene lining. The padding consists of high quality latex foam.
Top King designs their Muay Thai shin guards with extra attention for maximum protection of your lower leg. The rear hook and loop Velcro straps are adjustable. Their strategic placing means they will allow more movement of the calf muscles during training. The top of the shin pads extends high enough to protect the sensitive area below the knee cap.
These MMA shinguard are ultra lightweight and ergonomically engineered. The shin and foot ridge support your leg’s natural shape and movement. Offering superior fit and protection, these shin pads are suitable for stand-up striking training and sparring.
Top King Kanok Shinguards, model TKSGKN01, are available in khaki (olive green), beige, black or white, with a gold and black design. Top King’s Kanok 2 design, model TKSGKN02, is currently available in black. Both styles come in sizes small, medium, large, and extra large.

First time using Top King shinguards, heard good things but I’m pretty disappointed with the quality of the stitching on these. I’ve only used these for 3 sparring sessions since my purchase and the stitching on the foot strap of the instep guard is already failing (see picture). Another reviewer pointed out that they had problems with the stitching on their pair of shinguards as well, hopefully I won’t have the same issue as them with more stitches blowing out but I wouldn’t be surprised.
I’ve sworn by Top King now for my shins for 6 years of training, I had finally retired my Top King Pro Shins, and had replaced them with a new pair of Kanoks, which fit amazing, but I have had multiple issues with the stitching on the Kanoks. First the elastic part on the ankle had come unstitched which was an easy fix. But now I’ve had multiple stitches blow out where the foot pad meets the shin pad, I’m very disappointed in this. Might end up switching to a new brand.
Ordered it and it came 2 days later (that’s insane). And then of course, top king shin guards are just aaaamazing.
These Top King shin guards are AWESOME! The design really caught my eye so I had to pull the trigger. They fit perfectly (I’m 5’9 170lbs and got the Mediums) and have great padding as well. Loved using them every night since they came in and I’m looking forward to using them at my next comp.
