Full Impact Shinguards are a brand new design from Top King Boxing. Similar to their previous Muay Thai shin guards, the new Full Impact model uses genuine leather and neoprene lining with hight quality latex foam. The padding consists of high quality latex foam.
This brand new design does not use the same forefoot attachment as previous models of Top King shinguards. The foot piece is preformed to perfectly fit and protect the front of the ankle.
This design still uses adjustable rear hook and loop Velcro straps behind the calf. Their strategic placing means they will allow more movement of the lower leg muscles during training.
The top of the shin pads extends high enough to protect the sensitive area below the knee cap. Two pieces of thick fabric elastic keep the foot protector in place; one is behind the ankle and the other underneath the arch of the foot.
These kickboxing shin guards are ultra lightweight and ergonomically engineered. The shin and foot ridge support your leg’s natural shape and movement. Offering superior fit and protection, these shin pads are suitable for stand-up striking training and sparring.

The layer is thick with great impact protection but still lets you move freely. Excellent quality, highly recommended!

Agree with the other comment that the sizing is a bit confusing, went with a size L and it fits great (a bit snug to start but thety continue to break in). I have 15.5″ shins and a size 11.5-12 foot (US) and these cover both my shins and feet well, which I like in this updated design.
The design is sleek and the foam padding is sturdy while the guards are light. Shipping and delivery time to US was fast and about a week total.
I’ve use Yakkao and Anthem (which has been my favorite) shin guards, for reference on my review. I ordered large and I’m just under a 17.25″ shin measured from the instep to the top of the shin bone. The shin portion (A) of the guard is 16″ but the padding is only 15″, due to the fit, it reaches up about 17″up the shin. Due to the padding portion only being 15″ it leaves the patellar tendon very exposed.
One more thing to note: this has the foot sewn directly onto the shin portion, so there’s not much flexibility. This means that when you kick it pulls down on the shin portion. Overall the feel is very clunky while leaving vital tendons exposed, which defeats some of the benefits you’d expect from a clunkier shin guard.
It feels like a Yakkao along the shin with the padding being on the inside, but a little tighter. (1.5cm of padding on the inside). Another reason to size up in my opinion.
