I love these pads! The size is small and light, which makes it great for pads sessions. The extra wrist support gives you extra protection without having to use larger pads. I think that is a matter of choice, but I find smaller pads to be more dynamic and allows for smoother sessions. I would be concerned about these pads if I was using them with a large novice striker.
These are thinner than some pads, easier on the shoulders. Good for fast combos and easy storage when traveling. Your forearms may take a little more of a beating with these (a bonus, stronger forearms).
