The smaller size is nice–takes up less space in my bag and still gives good protection.
This belly pad is simply top notch. Not only is it beautiful to the eye, but the craftsmanship, with the stitching and materials used are damn near perfect and super high quality (the smell of fresh leather never gets old); I love that both the front AND the back are leather, as opposed to the typical polyester cloth on the belly-side that just soaks up sweat and gets smelly. Lastly, the prime reason why I went for this pad is because it is nice and compact, with just the right spots being protected, but it is not bulky nor does it get in the way as much with other belly pads when accompanied with larger Thai pads. With that said, the packing is very dense, but has that little give for shock absorption, offering all the protection you need, even for big heavy hitters. Never thought I would be so excited about a belly pad, but here we are. Thanks K and NMW!
