The PMM01 model offers a striking surface that is 10″ tall by 7.5″ at the pad’s widest point. Two inches of high density foam padding mean you can train both accuracy and power shots with these focus pads.
The inverse teardrop shape tapers down to 3″ at the bottom side of the pad. On the trainers’ side, this is where extra padding provides comfortable support to the wrist and forearm. From the striker’s side, there is slightly more room to play with. This allows a wider variety of upper body strikes than circular models can accommodate.
A hood covers the hand compartment to protect the trainer’s fingers from injury. While individual finger slots inside the hand compartment help you keep complete control over the durable pads. Inside the hand compartment, there is an extra mound of padding that fits directly inside the trainer’s hand. This aids in control & comfort while training Muay Thai punches.
