Fairtex Cloth Shin Pads use a soft elasticated cotton fabric. They are a sock-type piece of equipment that slides over your ankle and secured below your knee with a velcro strap. Padding along the shins and instep offers optimal protection from high impact strikes. The heel and ball of your foot is open to provide grip and traction in the ring. All edges of these shin pads have strong seams for durability and to prevent fraying.

These shin pads are acceptable for competition in most amateur Muay Thai and kickboxing bodies worldwide, including IFMA.

The foot length measures 16cm and shin length measures 30 cm. They come in one size only and are available in black, red, or blue.

Thai style boxing gloves are ideal for catching and blocking kicks, and for clinch training. Fairtex generally uses more dense padding than other Muay Thai brands. This is what makes their gloves known for a good “pop” on heavy bags and pads. Fairtex continues to release special edition versions of their classic gloves, so you can keep the equipment you know and trust when grabbing a fresh pair. They’re ok. I have some other guards that I think I prefer more than the cloth just because they’re easier to put on and clean but other than that they’re a good back up.
